I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! the location was perfect. Situated directly on the river, it offered beautiful views of the old town. Secondly, the staff were extremely friendly and provided excellent service. Lastly, the breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety of local products. I also loved the attention to detail, such as the well-stocked fridge in the lobby and the comfortable rooms on higher floors.
All was great, no improvements needed.

Location is good. Special ambiance. Drinks/Fruit/Coffee available for guest.
There was no staff present. You needed to call a number to get a code to access your room key in a deposit box. This was't a problem, just a bit unusual.

Overall ambience and decor. The bedroom was very pleasant with dual aspect windows overlooking the river and bridge. Breakfast was good.
Reception was un-manned upon arrival at approx 19:00. Rang the number provided numerous times although no answer. Had to wait for almost 20 minutes before we could check in.

The hotel's location was very convenient as it allowed us to explore the city easily. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. we appreciated the fact that the hotel provided us with a complimentary breakfast during our stay.
The hotel lacked some amenities we expected, such as a minibar and in-room Wi-Fi. some of the staff seemed preoccupied and did not attend to us promptly.

Beautiful location directly on the river; sizeable, comfortable room; a building with real character and much more personal than most of the international chains. Friendly, helpful staff and a price-value ratio that stacks up.
The way the bathroom is built into the room does not leave too much to the imagination, so if privacy is your thing then this may not be your ideal place, but I imagine for most people travelling with a partner or indeed alone that doesn't really matter so much.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and I have to say, it was absolutely delightful. the location of this hotel is simply stunning. Situated right on the edge of the river, the views from every window were breathtaking. The hotel itself was filled with lovely artwork and photographs that showcased the history of the building, creating a charming and pleasant atmosphere. Additionally, the staff at this hotel were outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by friendly and helpful individuals who made me feel welcome throughout my stay. Lastly, I cannot fail to mention the breakfast. It was a true feast! With a wide variety of local products including fresh milk, butter, rolls, and cheeses, I was spoiled for choice. All in all, my experience at this hotel was exceptional and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel located on the river. The staff was friendly and always had the fruit baskets well-stocked. The hotel facilities were beautiful, and the room was spacious with all the necessary amenities. I also enjoyed the locally sourced breakfast, especially the homemade Birchermüsli. the location was excellent, as I could easily walk to the traditional original city within the walls of this city.
Nothing to mention.

Lovely stay with my partner in a charming hotel. We loved the characterful decor of the room and its ample space. the window offered beautiful views of the river and the breakfast was great with a variety of options to choose from. the hotel is conveniently located, just a quick walk to the train station and with many shops and restaurants nearby.
The bathroom was a bit small and lacked privacy due to its partially frosted glass walls. the staff was not always available at the reception desk which made the check-in and check-out process a bit difficult.
